Client Training
The Australian Institute of Education and Training has qualified
trainers that are able to travel to you anywhere in Australia
to deliver the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
To date, we have delivered this qualification to clients in
Melbourne, Geelong, Wodonga, Sydney, Adelaide, Canberra and
Brisbane; and other courses in Hobart, Tasmania. If you have
a group of approximately 6 or more, it may be cost effective
for us to fly to you to deliver the training at a time and
place that is convenient to you. Call us for a confidential
chat.
Currently, Australian Institute of Education and Training
conducts two training programs at our premises in Brunswick
West.

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
AIET was one of the first RTO's (Registered Training Organisations)
in Australia to offer the new Certificate IV in Training and
Assessment qualification. We therefore believe that our trainers
are very experienced at delivering this program. We have an
innovative, holistic approach to the qualification, with a
very high face to face success rate.
We offer a range of options as we understand that a face
to face program is not always appropriate to some participants,
and distance may also be an issue. We therefore offer face
to face sessions at our premises in Brunswick West, as well
as RCC (Recognition of Current Competency) and RPL (Recognition
of Prior Learning).
The program runs from 9 AM to 4 PM each day of the course.
We have courses that run on Saturday's; Monday's or Wednesday's/Thursday's.
Currently all classes run during the day. Evening courses
can be scheduled if there are enough enquiries.
Please note that all courses include both training and assessment
so at the end of the course, provided you have completed all
of the requirements during the course, you will complete all
of the assessment requirements for the qualification - you
will not be asked to complete additional assessment requirements
after the course has concluded. As such, we estimate that
you will need to set aside approximately 50 hours of your
own time over the duration of the course, but as mentioned,
at the end of the course, you will have completed all of the
assessment requirements of the qualification. Hence the course
is very intensive, but we achieve a higher rate of student
completion running the course this way (whcih we beleive is
important, rather than pushing a lot of students through a
shortened training program and having a low rate of completion)
rather than delivering the theory of the course in a shortened
timeframe and then asking you to complete projects and assignments
after the course has concluded and then submit in your own
time.
Currently, our next set of courses for the remainder of 2008
will occur on the following dates:
Saturday courses:
Course 9: 20th September; 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th October;
8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th November; 6th, 13th December 2008.
Monday courses:
Course 10: 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th September; 6th, 13th, 20th,
27th October; 10th, 17th, 24th November 2008.
Wednesday/Thursday courses:
Course 8: 13th 14th, 20th, 21st, 27th, 28th August; 4th,
10th, 11th, 17th, 18th September 2008
Course 11: 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th October; 5th, 6th, 19th,
20th, 26th November; 3rd, 4th December 2008.
Evening courses:
Currently we have not scheduled any evening courses as participants
of past evening programs have found it difficult coming form
work and attending 3 hours of classes in the evening from
6 - 9 pm. If there is sufficient interest we will schedule
an evening course, two evenings a week (Monday and Tuesday's).
Catering (lunch, tea/coffee) is provided for all face to
face programs.
